In collaboration with the German Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate, United Internet has created a unique Center of Excellence in the field of Multimedia and Internet, which has helped over 80 companies since its inception in 1998. There are currently 30 companies with over 600 employees located at the Multimedia-Internet-Park (M.I.P.). With around 10,000 square meters, the M.I.P. offers plenty of space for start-ups and young companies with expansion potential.

The M.I.P. is owned and operated by Multimedia Internet Park GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Internet AG. In contrast to "normal" commercial properties, the M.I.P. offers young companies an optimized lease concept in which numerous services - e.g. post, switchboard, phone system, voicemail, cabling, Internet access, canteen, technical support, secretarial and phone answering service and even the entertaining of guests - are either already included in the rent or can be requested from the operating company as additional services.
